Location: Bridgeville, Delaware – Private Practice

Type: Full Time(40hr/wk) OR Part Time (24-32hr/wk)

Species: Canine and Feline but willing to expand depending on the DVM experience and interest.

Hours: Monday – Friday. No weekends, nights or on call shifts.

Requirements: 

• Excellent client relationship and team skills.
• Performing surgeries such as: routine spays, neuters, lumpectomies, dentistry and gastro/enterotomies.
• Handling internal medicine, and critical care cases.
• Ability to handle a fast paced, multi-task environment.
• Professionalism at all times, including an enthusiastic, positive, diplomatic demeanor.

About Western Sussex Animal Hospital

Western Sussex Animal Hospital is a privately owned, one doctor hospital. We have a very experienced team that has a lot of fun at work and a strong passion for providing the best care at an affordable price for our clients. We offer 30-minute wellness and urgent care appointments throughout the day for our existing clientele. Our hospital consists of 4 exam rooms (1 for felines only, 1 for isolation/euthanasia), radiology room, ultrasound room, surgery prep/dental area, one surgical suite, feline kennel room, canine kennel room and an open floor treatment area. We schedule surgeries for Tuesday – Thursday mornings, Mondays and Fridays are saved for appointments.
