Haven Humane Society in beautiful, rural Northern California is looking for an Associate Veterinarian to work with our Chief Medical Officer.  The hospital is 4,485 sq.ft. with a 2-table surgery suite, 2 exam rooms, x-ray room, isolation room, pharmacy and great support staff who serve the community and Haven’s stray and adoptable animals with medical care. $135,000 salary and great benefits.

We are making a difference for the animals in our community.  Along with 28 weekly TNR surgery slots, we hold a monthly Feral Fiesta Day for 50 feral and community cat surgeries. We provide medical care for a wide variety of shelter animals from mice to horses and will include caring for pets of low-income households when you join our compassionate staff.  If you are looking for a practice that truly feeds the soul, this is it.

Education and Experience:
• Current valid license to practice veterinary medicine in California (or willingness to pursue a CA license).
• Doctor of Veterinary Medicine degree from an accredited college or university.
• Experience in shelter medicine, community medicine, and/or HQHVSN preferred but not required.
