$135,000 per year. Employer pays 90% of sponsored medical plan (currently Anthem Silver). Dental, Vision, and $25,000 life insurance fully paid by employer.

Haven Humane Society in beautiful, rural Northern California is looking for an Associate Veterinarian to work with our Chief Medical Officer. The hospital is 4,485 sq.ft. with a 2-table surgery suite, 2 exam rooms, x-ray room, isolation room, pharmacy and great support staff who serve the community and Haven’s stray and adoptable animals with medical care. $135,000 salary and great benefits.
We are making a difference for the animals in our community. Along with 28 weekly TNR surgery slots, we hold a monthly Feral Fiesta Day for 50 feral and community cat surgeries. We provide medical care for a wide variety of shelter animals from mice to horses and will include caring for pets of low-income households when you join our compassionate staff. Education and Experience: • Current valid license to practice veterinary medicine in California (or willingness to pursue a CA license). • Doctor of Veterinary Medicine degree from an accredited college or university. • Experience in shelter medicine, community medicine, and/or HQHVSN preferred but not required.
