Cape Veterinary Hospital is currently seeking a motivated and talented, full-time veterinarian to join our dedicated team!
Our practice serves a wide variety of species from dogs and cats to pocket pets, reptiles and birds to pigs, goats, camelids, and other farm animals (both in the clinic and ambulatory).
As we build our dream team, this role is very flexible, and there is the ability to simultaneously pursue advanced training in avian and exotic medicine through collaboration with our sister hospital, Mount Laurel Animal Hospital (MLAH). This unique opportunity would involve a hybrid role including direct mentorship from the exotics department at MLAH to fine tune comfort level with all aspects of care for exotic species.
Cape Veterinary Hospital is a privately owned, newly renovated practice located in Cape May Courthouse, NJ. We are a growing primary care service comprised of a team of veterinary technicians, assistants, and doctors dedicated to offering their patients the best of care and developing a culture of excellence. Our hospital has a very high tech to doctor ratio to improve patient care and maximize collaboration.
We are located minutes from the beach and just over an hour from Philadelphia. Our practice recently underwent major renovations to upgrade the office space including the addition of digital x-ray, digital dental x-ray, ultrasound, and cutting laser, to provide for a modern workflow and the tools needed to practice high quality medicine. We offer a wide range of services including wellness, dental and digital radiography, full in-house pharmacy, surgery and more!
Our practice sees a mix of small animals, and while it is not required, we also have an exotics and farm animal caseload as well. Our benefits include: • Competitive Salary • Flexible Scheduling • Medical benefits • 401K match • Disability • Professional Liability Insurance • Generous CE allowance • Discounted pricing for your pet's care The right candidate will be hard working, possess great communication skills, and have a strong interest in high-quality medicine and surgery. All experience levels are considered, and strong mentorship is available.
