Join us at Alta View Vet Clinic, a well-established, privately owned small animal practice located in Greenfield, WI. We take pride in our growing clinic, serving a great clientele in this beautiful Milwaukee suburb.
Responsibilities:
- Deliver high-quality veterinary medicine with a focus on providing exceptional care to our patients.
- Collaborate effectively with our experienced team of 3.5 doctors to ensure the best possible outcomes for our furry companions.
- Utilize our state-of-the-art facility equipped with digital radiography, ultrasound, CO2 surgical laser, in-house IDEXX diagnostic equipment, cold laser therapy, and electronic records to offer comprehensive care.
- Develop strong client-patient relationships and provide clear communication to pet owners about their animal's health and treatment plans.
Requirements:
- Hold a Doctor of Veterinary Medicine (DVM) degree from an accredited institution.
- Possess a passion for animal welfare and a commitment to practicing veterinary medicine at the highest standards.
- Demonstrate excellent interpersonal skills and a personable demeanor when interacting with clients and colleagues.
- Experience with diverse medical tools and equipment, ensuring accurate diagnoses and effective treatment plans.
Benefits:
We offer a competitive benefits package, including a starting salary of $110,000 or more (commensurate with experience), to support your professional growth and well-being. Our large support staff ensures a collaborative and positive work environment.
Work Schedule:
- If applying for full time position, work schedule is 32 hours worked per week with a rotating Saturday schedule of 4 hours at 1 on and 1 off.
- If applying for part time, work schedule is 20 - 24 hours worked per week. (Pay is Hourly)

Additional information:
- Rate of pay is salary. Pro Sal can be potentially offered but not required nor encouraged. While we ask you to do your best to practice high quality medicine that would lead you to making your 22%. We know it is important to be able to take the appropriate amount of time for your clients, as well as time off as needed without it affecting your pay.
- Medical exams are 40 minutes in length. Healthy pet vaccine appointments are 20 minutes in length.
- We are by appointment only. No walk in, no urgent care, and no after hours. We do try to have urgent care slots blocked off each day for current clients to get in as needed.
- We do not do boarding!
- All doctors receive a 1-hour lunch from 12pm to 1pm. The doors are closed, and the phones are turned off during the lunch hour. All support staff takes the same lunch hour to be ready for the doctors 1pm appointments.
- Surgery rotation is optional. Choose to do none, choose to only do neuters and dentals, or more. Your pay rate is salary, as such you can practice how you want.

- Simple IRA w/ 3% match
- United health care insurance with dental. 50% paid by employer
- Equipment - Idexx Digital X-ray, Wisonic Ultrasound Navi unit, Dentalaire Digital X-ray with Handheld Dentalaire X-ray generator, Cold laser, and Idexx full lab station (w/o the UA machine)
- Paid parental leave. 12 weeks off, 3 weeks of which will be paid.
- Paid Time Off - 14 days - (aka, 112 hours in total of paid vacation)
- Sick pay - 2 days paid
- Paid CE - 5 days - Want to go to Texas and do ultrasound training at Sound? Awesome! CE paid for, Plane ticket paid for, and days away from clinic paid for.
- Privately owned. Opportunity to buy in available.
- 1.5 to 2 vet assistants per doctor per day. (vet assistants are back staff only)
- 3-5 receptionists per day. (They are front staff only)
