Rocky Mountain Small Animal Hospital, located in Highlands Ranch, Colorado,is looking for a full-time, experienced Associate Veterinarian to join our amazing team! We are proud to be AAHA accredited for 25 years!
About our clinic: Rocky Mountain Small Animal Hospital is a full-service small animal hospital that treats dogs and cats. Our diagnostic equipment includes an in-house laboratory, digital radiography, digital dental radiography, ultrasound, and tonometry.
At RMSAH, we perform a large variety of routine and advanced soft tissue surgeries and dentistry. We have two surgery suites, CO2 cutting laser, and Cardell multi-monitoring equipment. We utilize the services of a board-certified surgeon as need needed for orthopedic procedures. Our dental equipment includes a wet table, drill and scaler handpiece, Vet-Tome (atraumatic extraction system!), and dental radiography. We also use cold laser therapy post-op. We utilize the services of a mobile board-certified radiologist for our diagnostic ultrasounds and a board-certified cardiologist for our echocardiograms as needed. Furthermore, we have a great relationship with the emergency and referral center that is only a few minutes away, making it easy to transfer any patients needing overnight monitoring.
The schedule we are looking to fill is a 4-day work week with rotating Saturdays. Our current hospital hours are Monday through Friday, 8AM to 6PM and Saturday, 8AM to 2PM. Our appointments start around 8AM and end around 5PM, with our doctors also having at least an hour lunch break, so there is adequate time to finish records, call backs, etc. You can learn more about our incredible practice at rmsah.com.
