The team at Winsted Hospital for Animals in Barkhamsted, Connecticut is looking for our next part-time or full-time associate veterinarian to join their well-established three doctor practice. Our doctors are supported by an experienced technical staff comfortable working with up-to-date technology and equipment. The practice is undergoing a complete renovation that will include four brand new exam rooms, new surgery suite, state of the art upgraded equipment, x-ray suite, and so much more!

A new graduate or an experienced Veterinarian would be a good fit on our team. Our full-time veterinarian schedule is 3-5 weekdays with rotational Saturday’s, and there are no after hours or on call shifts.

Barkhamsted is in the Northwest Corner of Connecticut, near the foothills of the Berkshires and in close driving distance to New York City and Boston. There is access to recreational activities such as golf courses, hiking trails, kayaking/canoeing, shopping, restaurants, etc. It is definitely a family-friendly area with a lot to offer all ages.

The salary for this position starts at $120k+ and increases based on experience, responsibilities, work schedule, and many other factors.
