Adirondack Veterinary Hospital is looking for a Medical Director to join their team. This is an opportunity to join as an associate or with leadership potential as Medical Director! Generous sign-on & relocation bonus eligible - open to negotiations. Opportunity for hospital ownership (equity or profits interest).

Key Responsibilities:

• Diagnose and treat pets with illnesses and injuries
• Administer core vaccinations and counsel clients in well pet care
• Perform soft tissue surgeries and dentistry
• Contribute to making our workplace enjoyable for all: staff, clients, and pets

Requirements:

• Doctor of Veterinary Medicine degree
• Licensure in good standing in the state of New York NY or ability to get licensure in NY

Our hospital features in-house diagnostics such as digital radiography, ultrasound, and an in-house lab. We see wellness cases, perform surgery and dentistry, sick clients, and emergency’s (during operating hours-no overnights or on-call).
