Wheelersburg Animal Hospital, located in southern Ohio along the Kentucky border, is searching for an Associate DVM to join our team in beautiful Wheelersburg, Ohio.
We’re looking for an Associate who:
Has 3-5+ years of clinical experience in a small animal hospital
Is confident, capable, and thrives in ever changing environments
Is a team player and motivated to learn and grow
Wants to join a dedicated team where everyone is willing to lend a helping hand
Understands the importance of client education and communicates effectively, compassionately, and respectfully
Is licensed (or able to become licensed) in the state of Ohio
Surgery is not a requirement for this role; however, there are opportunities for surgery if desired

We function as a paper-lite hospital (DVM Manager)
Our hospital is 8200 square foot and recently remodeled
We have 7 exam rooms and a surgery room with two stations
We are well-equipped to provide advanced diagnostics (Heska lab equipment)
Aside from wellness we also regularly see internal medicine cases, dentistry, and complex surgical procedures
We’re located off a busy road (522 & Gallia) with ample parking and just seconds from Kroger and a coffee shop

Flexible scheduling:
This is a full-time Monday-Saturday role with flexible scheduling. Our current hours are 8am-5:30/6pm on weekdays and 8am-12:30pm on Saturdays. Ideally, our next Associate would pick up at least one Saturday each month. There are no on-call services or emergency hours required for this role.
