Qualifications:
- DVM or equivalent degree from an accredited veterinary school
- Current California veterinary license
- Strong communication skills and a compassionate approach to client care
- Experience in a clinical setting preferred but new graduates are welcome

Job Requirements for Veterinarian
Education and Licensure: - Doctor of Veterinary Medicine (DVM) or equivalent degree from an accredited veterinary school. - Current and valid state veterinary license (California for Brook Ellis Pet Hospital). - DEA license (if required for the position).
Experience: - Proven experience in a clinical setting, with a strong background in both routine and emergency veterinary care. - Familiarity with a variety of animal species, including dogs, cats, and exotic pets, is preferred. - Experience with surgical procedures and anesthesia management is highly desirable.
Skills and Competencies: - Strong diagnostic skills and the ability to develop effective treatment plans. - Excellent communication skills for effectively interacting with pet owners and staff. - Compassionate and empathetic approach to animal care. - Ability to work collaboratively within a team environment and mentor less experienced staff.
Technical Proficiency: - Proficient in using veterinary software and electronic medical records. - Familiarity with medical equipment and technology used in veterinary practices, including radiology and laboratory diagnostics.
Personal Attributes: - Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to remain calm under pressure. - A commitment to continuous learning and staying updated on veterinary practices and advancements. - Strong work ethic and dedication to providing the highest standard of care.
Additional Requirements: - Availability to work flexible hours, including weekends and holidays, as needed. - Willingness to participate in community outreach and education initiatives.
