VCA Sequoia Valley Animal Hospital is seeking an Associate Veterinarian to complement our talented team in Santa Rosa, California.
Sign-on Bonus up to $25k for new graduates and $50k for doctors with 2+ years’ experience. Includes a 2-year commitment to the practice.
Our practice style is open and collaborative for the benefit of our patients, and we encourage the development of new interests (exotics anyone?) or techniques. Regular doctor rounds and new graduate mentoring is available.
What sets us apart from the rest is our highly trained support staff including 3 RVTs, 2 more in training, and a stellar reception team. Our goal is to provide a smooth workflow for doctors to do their best job and still enjoy a comfortable work-life balance. Add to that a well-designed building, up-to-date and well-maintained equipment (including in-house labs, ultrasound, and digital dental radiography) and a loyal clientele – all we need is one more doctor to round out the picture.
We are open Monday – Friday 8-6 and Saturdays 9-4. There are four emergency hospitals in our area, so on-call, overnights, or emergencies are not required.
The annual salary range for a full-time (4 days per week) position is between $150k and $180k, depending on experience. Compensation is negotiable and qualified candidates may be eligible for other pay programs. Part-time opportunities are also available.
Taking care of the future of veterinary medicine starts with taking care of our associates! As a member of the VCA family, eligible full-time employees will be rewarded with a competitive salary and a comprehensive benefits package, including:
