Kind Animal Care in Spring Hill, Fl is expanding! We are projected to finish construction on our 11,000 sq ft hospital in January.
We are searching for a motivated veterinarian to join our team. DVMS work 4 weekdays (8-5) and rotating Saturdays (8-12). Appointments are 30 minutes with add on urgent care and ER visits which are split up amongst the team (we aim to have a designated UCV DVM each shift). Two hours are blocked (12-2) for lunch/call-backs/record-keeping. Staff leaves on time daily.
Pay is Pro-Sal. Base salary starting at 100,000 annually with potential to produce 180,000.

- Doctorate in veterinary medicine, licensed in Florida. - Excellent medical and surgical skills. - Ability to provide emergency care. - Significant continuing education achievements, beyond licensing requirements. - Excellent communication skills with both staff and clients. - Ability to recognize that teamwork is essential for quality practice; ability to work as a team member as well as a doctor. - Working knowledge of and interest in the business aspect of a veterinary practice. - Knowledge of spelling and meaning of commonly used veterinary medical terminology and procedures. - Ability to properly restrain patients. - Ability to complete assigned tasks in the time allotted without direct supervision. - Demonstrated ability to show empathy toward clients and treat animals with respect and compassion. - Excellent interpersonal communication skills. - A commitment to outstanding client service. - Ability to lift objects weighing 50 pounds without assistance and objects weighing more than 50 pounds with assistance. - Ability to stay on task and work energetically for the entire shift, sometimes exceeding 10 hours per day.
- Ability to maintain clear accurate records and to charge clients for all products and service rendered - Knowledgeable regarding related federal and state animal health laws and regulations including OSHA and DEA. Ensure that the hospital and its employees are in compliance with regulations. Inform the veterinary hospital administrator of any regulatory issues. - Work well with all team members and ensure that your actions support the hospital, the doctors, and the practice philosophy. - Perform other duties as assigned.
