Busy well-established, full-service primarily small animal practice in Jacksonville Florida is seeking an associate DVM.  Located in northeast Florida this practice has long served the community providing exceptional medical, surgical and dental care.  Our goal is to treat our clients like family while providing the best medical treatment available.  Our clientele consists of roughly 90% small animal and 10% large (mainly equine though we do see some goats, rabbits, and potbellied pigs). Interest in a mixed practice is a plus but not a requirement. We provide a broad spectrum of diagnostic procedures including in-house Idexx lab testing, digital x-ray capabilities, and ultrasound. The candidate can be an experienced veterinarian or a new graduate with a strong foundation and diagnostic skills.  Our staff is highly trained and hard working.  Salary will range from $90,000 to $110,000 depending on experience.  Benefits will include paid vacation, CE allowance, dues, medical insurance and liability coverage.

Whitehouse Animal Hospital is a mixed animal practice comprised of approximately 10% equine and 90% small animal. We also treat a small number of pot belly pigs, rabbits, goats, and other types of pocket pets. We have been established since 2001 and have just gone through a recent remodeling and expansion from 3 exam rooms to 6 as well as enlargement of our treatment area. We have two surgical tables and two dental tables, three anesthesia machines, ultrasound, digital x-ray machine, inhouse Idexx bloodwork machines. It can be very fast paced but we have a solid client base and a great reputation in the community.
