Immediate opening at a 3-generation family owed fast paced small animal and exotic hospital just south of the beautiful shores of Lake Michigan in Valparaiso Indiana. Established in 1943, McAfee Animal Hospital is a full-service companion animal facility that practices preventative and internal medicine in addition to orthopedic and general surgery. Qualifications: DVM and licensed in the State of Indiana; Open to new graduates and/or interns

Office hours: M-F 7:30-5:30 with closing of noon to 1:30 for lunch and charting

Salary & Benefits:
Highly competitive base salary and/or production; health & liability insurance; PTO; CE allowance; SIMPLE SEP with 3% employer match; Pet care discounts; uniform allowance; Paid license and dues; other benefits can be negotiated. 

You will: Diagnose, treat, and manage a variety of small animal cases; perform general wellness exams and soft tissue surgery; educate clients and staff on treatment options and recommendations; treat urgent care cases (after hour cases are sent to ER clinic); maintain a positive work environment and establish good rapport with clients and other staff members
