Who are we?   The California Department of Food and Agriculture’s Antimicrobial Use and Stewardship (AUS) branch is leading the way to preserve the efficacy of antimicrobial drugs, and you will help us develop the nation’s first comprehensive, model veterinary antimicrobial stewardship and monitoring program for livestock. We are a statewide program intended to promote actions that will slow the development of resistant bacteria associated with livestock and poultry that have adverse public and animal health impacts.
