Established in 1986, we are located in the heart of the world’s largest Amish settlement and are heavily vested in this tight knit family-oriented community. Our main hospital is fully equipped with complete laboratory and diagnostic equipment including digital x-ray, dental x-ray, Imagyst, ultrasounds and isoflurane anesthesia. Our hospital has undergone a complete remodel and addition within the past 2 years. Our team includes an evening ER staff and on -call technician. We also operate a satellite wellness facility as well as two grooming shops and a boarding facility.
We are proud to offer flexible scheduling and amazing work/life balance to the next member of our team. Experienced veterinarians and new graduates interested in small animals are encouraged to apply. This is the perfect opportunity for a new graduate to be successful under the mentorship and guidance of our collaborative team of doctors with a wide range of experience and areas of interest.
Our case load is very diverse, and includes general practice services and commercial canine breeding enterprises. The commercial kennel work comprises progressive reproductive services (TCI, surgical AI, frozen semen, C-sections), regulatory work (health certificates, kennel inspections, ODA & USDA licensures), and litter exams. Many of our kennels have regular monthly consultations. We also provide surgical services for 2 county Humane Societies and numerous rescue groups.
