Certified/Experienced Veterinary Technician needed for a 6 doctor small animal hospital.
Candidate must be passionate about working in the veterinary field and have the knowledge,  skills and initiative to become a vaulable member of our team. Clear verbal and typed communication skills are needed. Being respectful to each member of the team is mandatory.

The position is full time and the schedule is varied between the hours of 6:30am -6:30pm Monday through Friday and alternating Saturday mornings. No late evenings  or holidays . Overtime may occur occasionally.

Candidate must be comfortable performing the following:

Obatining patient history and educating clients

Prepartion and analysis of urine specimens

Microscopic/cytological identification of parasites, skin, and ear cytolgy

Venipuncture and IV catheterization 

Proper radiographic techniques and safety 

Perform laser therapy

Adminster vaccinations and medications by oral, SQ, IM & IV 

Assist in surgery and ultrasounds

Monitor anesthesia

Run Idexx blood machines
