As the Medical Director, you will play a pivotal role in guiding our hospital’s operation and providing leadership while continuing to practice medicine. Some of your key responsibilities will include:
Supervising Surgical and Medical Cases: Ensure successful outcomes and maintain clear communication with clients.
Guiding Medical Standards: Oversee and maintain high-quality care and effective inventory management.
Engaging with the Community: Oversee client service and develop marketing and growth strategies.
Mentoring Associate Veterinarians: Support both experienced and newly graduated veterinarians, fostering a nurturing and educational environment for all team members.
Recruiting and Interviewing: Participate in the process of selecting doctors and support staff.
Monitoring Doctor Performance: Evaluate doctor performance and production to ensure efficiency and quality.
Supporting Staff: Assist the hospital manager in developing training programs, tracking continuing education and DVM licensure responsibilities.
Driving Financial Goals: Drive revenue and hospital contribution growth, assist in the preparation of an annual planning strategy, lead and contribute to growth of the practice.
