Externship Program

Our program structure:

Our externships are customizable programs of 2, 4, 6, or 8 weeks– but are typically two or three weeks in length. Work side-by-side with our team and get great practical experience. Focus on the things you want to focus on, and learn about your career possibilities with CityVet.

We have multiple location options in Texas and Colorado with a paid stipend for 2nd, 3rd and 4th year DVM students.

Requirements:

• Be enrolled as a 2nd, 3rd or 4th year student in an accredited DVM program.
• You are authorized to work in the United States.
• You must carry professional liability insurance. AVMA PLIT liability insurance is free for all student members of the AVMA. You may apply for this coverage on their website. Please check to make sure your coverage is current and submit a certificate of coverage with your application.

We hire new graduate DVMs to locations that have the bandwidth for one-on-one mentorship. You start with hour long appointments, 12 month base salary guarantee and customized mentorship.
