Companion Animal Clinic, an AAHA accredited small animal and exotics practice in Blacksburg, Virginia, is seeking a full time or part time veterinarian to join our 6 doctor team. Companion Animal Clinic has served the Blacksburg community since 1974.

Our veterinary and support staff teams provide exceptional medical care combined with top-notch client service. Ideal candidates will share our core values of serve, evolve, commit, trust, create, care and thrive in a cooperative team environment.

• 6 employee DVMs, low turnover (position is open due to relocation)

• Heavily involved in mentoring Virginia Maryland CVM students (we love our externs!)

• Mostly canine and feline patients with some exotics

• AAHA accredited

• Equipped with everything you need to practice high quality medicine and provide excellent patient care

• Ultrasound, dental radiology

• 4, soon to be 5, exam rooms

• Skilled, positive support staff with low turnover

What we are looking for:

• Full-time veterinarian

• Minimum experience level - 2 years

• Must be skilled in basic soft-tissue surgery

• Must be skilled in dentistry or willing to attend in-person training courses

Qualifications:

Doctor of Veterinary degree, or equivalent, from an AVMA accredited university

Current DEA License or obtained upon hire

Active Veterinary State License
