Full Time/Part Time Associate Veterinarian position available for Small Animal Practice in Northwest Florida.

Woodbine Animal Clinic doctors collaborate and work together to be sure patients receive optimal care and proper diagnosis reached. Exotics also seen, but not required. In house diagnostics include Idexx Procyte, Catalyst Dx, Catalyst One, SNAPshot Dx, UA, SediVue Dx, Idexx Digital Cytology, digital x-ray, digital dental x-ray and ultrasound. Send out diagnostics to Idexx and other labs as needed. 

Our Full Time DVM's enjoy a 4 day regular work week with one Saturday per month. Lunch breaks of 2 hours each full day to ensure time to relax and reset. Average hours worked each week begin at 32 hours for the typical 4 day week, and may reach up to 38 hours when working the once monthly short Saturday. Our goal is keeping a healthy work life balance and not having our full time DVM's here for more than 40 hours/week. 

We do offer After Hours On Call for our existing clients only. On call is only until 9pm each evening. Our DVM's rotate "on call" weekly with each DVM being on call for no more than one week each month. Being on call allows you the freedom to field the calls and determine which cases are not emergent, you opt to see, or refer to the local emergency center. For reference, we have many weeks where no cases are seen when on call. The goal of our owner is that our clients know we are here for them. There is additional bonus pay for cases you see when on call.

We are a private locally owned practice. Originally opened in 1999 and transferred to our newly built 10,000 sq ft building in 2020. We have 4 full time practicing DVM,s a support team of 4 Certified Veterinary Technicians , 8 Veterinary Technicians, 6 Receptionists, 2 kennel members and 1 Certified Veterinary Practice Manager. We are open Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday and Friday 7:30am - 5:30pm, Thursdays 7:30am - 7pm, and Saturdays 8:00am - 12:00pm.
