Bay Area Bird & Exotics Hospital is an exclusively exotics practice located in San Francisco, CA. We've been located in the outer sunset/parkside area of SF since 1989 and provide care for birds, rabbits, rodents and reptiles. While birds have always been the foundation of our practice, exotic companion mammals are increasing in popularity...and thus in frequency. No dogs or cats allowed! You do not need extensive exotic experience - Drs. Dustin and Marcucci are both Avian ABVP diplomats and are willing to train. Newer graduates will be considered. However, experience with dogs and cats (or other mammals) provides a good base to launch into exotics. Exam times are usually 30 minutes (with 15 minute rechecks) and we set aside a 3 hour block for procedures in the midd
