We are seeking an associate to join our team in a full time or part time Associate Veterinarian position. The ideal candidate would be willing to work at both clinics, the scheduling ratio can be flexible. We are independently owned, and future ownership opportunities are possible.
Our Metro office is located in a brand new facility in Weston, Wi. We are a Gold Cat Friendly Practice with a dedicated feline treatment area as well as a dedicated dental suite! Weston is very close to Wausau, Wi which is a small city with a large city feel and yet close access to all of the outdoor appeal of Northern Wisconsin, including a ski hill and abundant water for boating and kayaking. With local breweries and concerts, a theater with superb travelling shows and modern restaurants as well as old school supper clubs, Wausau area has it all!
Wittenberg, Wisconsin has a hometown feel with the proximity to larger metropolitan areas. Wittenberg is a unique smaller town with an artistic flair. The local community, including our clinic, has participated in the "Walls of Wittenberg" with artists painting scenes: modern and historical, tranquil and exciting on the walls of local businesses and schools. There are local community days, festivals, concerts and several nearby casinos providing something for everyone!
We are an expanding small animal veterinary staff which includes 4 doctors with amazing support staff. Our veterinarians are caring family doctors, each with unique specialties and areas of expertise. We recognize the importance of the relationships between humans and animals and we see our clients and patients as extended family. We value our personal lives as well as our professional lives and strive to provide a work-life balance. There are no on call hours. We offer a complete array of services including medicine, surgery, dentistry, radiographs and ultrasound. We offer high quality care for our patients, with the ability to refer if needed.
The purpose of this position is to provide comprehensive pet preventive medicine as well as to diagnose and treat diseases and injuries. Individuals with specialty experience or with desires to expand their level of expertise are highly encouraged. Candidates of all experience levels considered, we offer a strong mentorship program for those with less experience. Our doctors meet twice monthly and are available to consult with each other on a regular basis. We are a paperless practice and experience with Impromed software is a plus.
