Allen Veterinary Hospital has been a cornerstone of the Allen, Texas community since 1986 and we are committed to providing exceptional care to our patients. In July 2024, we proudly moved into our brand-new, state-of-the-art facility at 851 E Main St, Allen, TX 75002. Our new clinic features 14 exam rooms, expanded waiting areas and enhanced parking facilities. These improvements are designed to offer a comfortable and efficient experience for both our clients and our staff. In addition to improving the experience we are also actively advancing our quality of patient care and diagnostics with a brand new Snyder ICU oxygen therapy cage, an ultrasound machine for both abdominal and echocardiogram as well as a brand new digital x-ray machine and dental x-ray.
Company History
Allen Veterinary Hospital was founded in 1986 by Dr. Mike Overton and in 2010, after 16 years as part of the team, Dr. Alan Coffman proudly took over the practice upon Dr. Overton’s retirement, ensuring the hospital’s tradition of top-quality care continued. Today we’ve grown to include four full-time veterinarians and a dedicated staff of more than 40 with a special focus on treating dogs and cats. We are honored to have received the People's Choice Award for Best Veterinary Practice in the Allen Community multiple years and in 2010 Dr. Coffman was presented the W. R. Bilderback, DVM award for rendering outstanding service and being a staunch advocate of the animal control profession.
