Company Overview

CNY Veterinary Medical Services is a privately owned practice. We have a strong emphasis on creating bonds with our pets and clients, and educating them on the best care possible. We aim at preventive care, and try to catch diseases early so that we can treat their conditions as best as possible. We provide general surgery for our clients, but we do not offer advanced orthopedic procedures or advanced imaging at our location. However, our strong relationships and networks allow us to refer our patients for the best possible care needed.

Company History

CNY Veterinary Medical Services opened in 2011 by Doctors Evan and Heather Sandler. Since they graduated from Veterinary school in 2005, both Dr. Evan and Dr. Heather dreamed of someday opening their own clinic. And between 2005 and 2011, they worked at different clinics, fine-tuning their skills independently and each creating their own niches in the community. When they felt the time was right, CNY Veterinary was born. And the community followed them! Already being known in the area for their strong skills and compassion, plus their commitment to pets and willingness to work with Rescue Organizations, CNY Veterinary quickly grew to one of the largest clinics in the area.
In 2020, Dr. Amanda Shedd, who was a licenced veterinary technician before going to vet school, joined the Sandler's, and became an associate at CNY Veterinary. She has become a staple at the clinic, and has also grown a strong reputation for her commitment to care and excellence to the veterinary field.

We cover the cost of all dues required for licensure, as well as membership dues.
We also cover the cost of malpractice insurance, including license coverage.
