HOUSE CALL SERVICES:
We are one of the only veterinary hospitals in our region that offers house call services for clients who are not able to bring their pets into our facility. We have a dedicated vehicle for the house call services, and service a 75 mile area. House calls provide the veterinarian with an opportunity to get out of the office, and see the patients in their own environments, which is helpful in certain cases.
EMERGENCY:
We currently refer our after-hour and weekend/holiday emergencies to local emergency clinics. We do sometimes have hospitalized patients over the weekend, and the veterinarians share the responsibilities of managing these cases. Therefore, we have a veterinarian and veterinary technician on-call over the weekend and holidays for their immediate care.
COMMUNITY INVOLVEMENT:
The Vetting Zoo is dedicated to helping local rescue and spay-neuter groups. We work with a number of rescues to provide veterinary care, as well as participate in a trap-neuter-return clinic for feral cats each month. In addition, The Vetting Zoo provides two low cost vaccine clinics per month.
If The Vetting Zoo sounds like a place you'd like to call home, please submit a resume to [email protected]. You can visit our website at www.thevettingzoo.com, or visit us on Facebook! NEW GRADUATES ARE ENCOURAGED TO APPLY!
